National Careers Service
The National Careers Service is the publicly funded careers service for adults and young people (aged 13 or over) in England.
The National Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance on learning, training, career choice, career development, job search, and the labour market. It can be accessed online and by telephone.
All Year 10 Pupils will take part in work experience arranged by the TCS Careers Team. Pupils are highly advised to do as much research as they can before commencing their placements in order to achieve maximum benefit. .
However students are also encouraged to find their own placements if they have a particular interest in an area as the school believes in the importance of work experience and providing meaningful opportunities for our students.
Every effort will be made to communicate with parents/carers and students via email, letters and telephone correspondence. In addition information notices will be made in Mentoring or in year group assemblies. Full support will always be made available throughout the whole process.
If you would like additional support on this please contact our Careers and Aspirations Manager Mr M Deen at the school.
